Uwe Hering

Uwe is an experienced Executive Manager holding a master degree in electrical engineering. He gained his entrepreneurial/business experience working with start-ups, mid-size and big-sized companies in Germany, USA, Canada and Austria. As a C-Level manager he can define and implement comprehensive/long-range company strategies including building and running the respective WW organizations.


Uwe has more than 18 years startup experience and is intimately familiar with the various economical, technical, operational and market challenges a company faces during the various stages of its lifecycle - from inception, product development, market introduction and volume production ramp-up.

Uwe founded myLike – a successful Internet Start-up. He worked as CSO, CMO at Odersun (Building integrate Photovoltaic) with more than 400 employees. He brought CoreOptics (optical telecommunication products) its revenue and strategic projects leading to the acquisition by Cisco. He was part of the management team at Newlogic (BT and WLAN technology, semiconductor design service) that was acquired by Wipro. He was one of the first team members at Mulitlink (compontents for optical communication) which had a successful 1.8 Billion IPO.

Steffen Schwarzer

Steffen is a product marketing expert with over 10 years experience in marketing and managing complex technical products from high-tech to solar semiconductors, building elements and software solutions.


After studying International Business Administration in Berlin, Steffen has held various roles from Business Development & Sales to Product Marketing and Product Management up to a Directors level. He accompanied international start-ups through multiple financing rounds and change processes and is experienced in managing effective cross-functional teams and projects.


Steffen has a proven track record of marketing complex and highly individualised products via strong industry partnerships. At Masdar PV, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi’s state fund Mubadala, he brought a new product line of customizable PV product for building applications from launch to market lead within less that a year. Previous assignments included the solar start-up Odersun AG, where he was responsible for a 160million project pipeline after supporting the company’s growth from its initial seed stage, as well as Fraunhofer Management Services and UAE based Sesam Business Consultants.
